Cajun Field Closed Oct. 12 Reminder

The information below was emailed to all students the morning of Friday, October 8, 2021.
Cajun Field will be closed on Tuesday, Oct. 12, due to the home football game at 6:30 p.m. when the Ragin’ Cajuns play Appalachian State. All vehicles must be removed from Cajun Field by 10 p.m. on Monday. Cars remaining may be towed at the owner’s expense.
Commuter students parking options include Cajundome parking, free campus parking in specified locations, and hourly parking in ParkMobile lots. The Cajundome parking lot on the north side of the dome (view map) will be available for commuter parkers with bus service. Enter through the Gate 8 entrance on W. Congress Street only.
Drivers are advised that left turns across W. Congress Street into the Cajundome parking lot will not be allowed. The bus stop will be located on the eastern most point of the lot. Buses will operate per the usual schedule of 7 a.m. until 8 p.m. with stops at Bourgeois Hall and Rex Street.
For bus operations and routes, use the Ride Systems app or webpage to view the route “Game Day Commuter Parking.”
Free parking will be available on Tuesday only in the Girard Park Circle Parking Tower on floors 1 – 3 and the ParkMobile lot located at 101 Mildred Street.
Hourly paid parking will be available in the ParkMobile lots located at 119 W. St. Mary St. behind Burger King and 333 University St. Normal hourly fees apply.
Normal parking and bus operations will resume on Wednesday, Oct. 13, at 7 a.m.
