The Office of Transportation Services will offer free student parking at select locations all day Saturday,
Graduate Assistant /Student Aide Spring Parking Permits

Spring 2020 parking permits for graduate assistants will be available for purchase starting at 8 am on Monday, December 16. Permits may be purchased online through ULINK by selecting the access my parking account option in the Parking & Transit section of the webpage. Permits may also be purchased in our office. GA permits are available on a first come, first serve basis. When they are sold out, individuals may obtain a commuter permit for parking at Cajun Field, purchase a Girard Parking Tower permit for floors 3-6 (if still available) or utilize the pay-by-the-hour parking spaces on floors 1 & 2 of the Girard Parking Tower. Permits will be active Jan 1-May 20, 2020.
Student Aide parking permits for the spring 2020 semester will be available for purchase in our office only starting at 8 am on Monday, December 16. To be eligible, a request letter must be submitted to Transportation Services by your department. This letter must be on letter head with an original signature from your supervisor which includes your name, ULID, number of hours scheduled per week. Or your supervisor may send an email with this same information to geauxpark@louisiana.edu Student aide permits are available on a first come, first serve basis. Permits will be active Jan 1-May 20, 2020.
Permits are $40 for the spring 2020 semester. Parking areas will be the same as the fall 2019 semester with very limited availability again for the spring.
If purchasing a permit in our office, please bring the following:
- Vehicle registration or photo of license plate number (for first time permit purchases)
- make, model, color and year of the vehicle
- debit/ credit card or money order for exact amount

Dec 9-13 & Dec 16-20: 7:30am-4:45pm Monday - Thursday and 7:30am-12:15pm Friday
December 23-January 3: University Closure Dates; Transportation Services offices will also be closed
January 6 - office resumes normal business hours: 7:30am-4:45pm Monday - Thursday and 7:30am-12:15pm Friday
