Cajun Field Bus Stop Announcement

The bus stop for commuter students and others parking at Cajun Field is moving back to the northeast corner (gate D) of the football stadium. This change goes into effect on Wednesday, January 16, 2019, the first official day of the spring 2019 semester. Parking for this bus stop is located on the east side/ Cajun Dome Boulevard side of the stadium

Permits Required

As a reminder, a permit is required to park at Cajun Field. Permits are available through ULINK/Campus Services/Transportation Services/access my parking account. The commuter permit does not have a fee but it is required to park at Cajun Field. Vehicles parked without a permit stand the risk of receiving citations.

Permits may be obtained through ULINK / Transportation Services / access my parking account. The two-step process includes registering a vehicle to the account and then obtaining the current permit. Permits may also be obtained in the Transportation Services Office located at 619 McKinley Street in the Olivier Parking Tower. Office hours are Monday through Thursday 7:30am-4:45pm and Friday 7:30am-12:15pm. Bring your UL ID and vehicle registration.

The UL Traffic Code requires all vehicles to be parked with the license plate facing the aisle. Backing in to a space or pulling through to an adjoining space is allowed only if there is a front license plate on the vehicle.

Use the Bus and Shuttle Tracker Apps   

Download the Ride Systems app or the UL Lafayette mobile app and click the Track Buses link in the menu. This feature provides live information on bus locations and gives estimated times of arrival to bus stops at Cajun Field, Bourgeois Hall, and Rex Street.

Each bus stop is indicated by a dot on the map. Click on the bus icon to see an estimated time of arrival for that bus and its next stop.

Transportation Services will post alerts in the app about changes in parking, upcoming events that will impact parking, and other important notifications.
