New Bus Route Announced

The Office of Transportation Services has implemented a new bus route to provide alternate bus service to students. The new route involves a stop on McKinley Street directly in front of the Student Union as well as stops at Bourgeois Hall and Cajun Field. As a reminder to employees, students and visitors, the bump out area in front of the Student Union is zoned a no parking area and vehicles parked in the area will be issued a citation. If temporary parking is needed, the side lot of the Union is now available as a 30-minute public parking area.

Download the Ride Systems app which aids all students using the university transit system.  Ride Systems, a transit tracking app, provides live information on bus locations and gives estimated times of arrival to each of the UL at Lafayette bus stops – Cajun Field, Bourgeois Hall, Student Union and Rex Street.
